People who are overweight encounter an ocean of physical, emotional, and even health-related obstacles. They may also feel very weak and much less confident. And while some of them are not able to get out of this trap for their whole life, others have decided that enough is enough. Jeremiah Peterson’s story proves that even 292 lb can’t be an obstacle if you have the right motivation.
We at Bright Side are sure that these stories inspire people who are just at the start of their weight loss journey. That’s why we prepared a new piece for our readers.
It was supposed to be a cool day with the family. Jeremiah planned a hiking trip with his wife and kids. But instead of having a memorable adventure, he was defeated by his excessive weight.“I found myself running out of breath and having to take breaks way before my 9, 7, and 6-year-olds,” he recalls.
He says that this was the point at which he understood that life could no longer go on in the same way. He wanted to build good memories in his heart, but he only saw himself tired and breathless. He thought about his family and all the responsibilities he had. “I knew I HAD to make some serious changes in my life.”

Repetition. . Over and over and over again. . Do it so often that it becomes ingrained in your daily routine. . Like brushing your teeth. . So even on days where you don’t feel like it you just can’t NOT do it. . I woke up tired today. . I wanted to sleep in and not get out of my warm bed today. But it just didn’t feel right not to get up and get my hike and gym session in. . So I got my butt out of bed and made myself get up. Now I feel #100% better!!! . Results don’t just happen. . You have to #dothework . Keep kicking walls down as the world tries to put them up. . #100to0 #totalknockout #repetition #wintheday #nodaysoff #neversettle #weightlosstransformation #mytransphormationstartstoday #150days #duespaid #bodytransformation #beforeandafter
